To You Alone

A white mist enveloped my sight,
My heart whispers to the Soul.
We are on our knees — higher than all mountains,
I awaken, having slept in You.

Who am I without the Sun? A pale shadow.
Who am I without the Sky? Black stars.
Is there peace where the blizzard rages?
Who am I without the Father who created me?

Only with You, gazing at the clay,
I see the seed that will sprout.
Only with You, looking into the desert,
I hear the brook singing.

You showed me with whom to awaken,
You taught me to live anew.
I will never abandon Hope.
I will never tire of Loving.

Who will ask me: have I seen God?
Without hesitation, I will answer — now,
The light of His glory shines eternally,
In eternal constellations, in gentle eyes.

I hear His voice in the silence,
In warm breath, in winter dawns,
In pure love, in warm spring,
In a child's laughter, in a poet's songs.

I hear the Heart, the quiet Heart,
That beats loudly beside the Soul.
You gave me — a personal Sun,
We will walk with it, beside You.

It is so beautiful to me, so peaceful to her,
You gave us a song without words.
There is no other Word in the beginning,
There is only God, and God is Love.
